Mars and Pluto conjunction

Pluto moved into Aquarius in January 2024. Pluto already was in Aquarius for a short while in early 2023, but is now getting company from Mars for the first time in this sign. Mars moved into Aquarius yesterday and planets are now in direct contact with each other. This energy hasn’t been felt during our lifetimes.

What does it mean? Well, if can mean many things depending on if the energies getting expressed in their lower or more developed forms. In a negative expression Mars, the warrior god, is now joining forces with Pluto, the ruler of the Underworld. But it also means that Pluto, the great transformer, is birthing a New Masculine. Masculine in a more healthy expression without the need to project its own pain. It is us who interact with the energies and dance them into existence both in the personal and collective level.

Pluto and Mars come together every second year or so, so in itself it’s nothing new. This is, however, the first time the contact is happening in the sign of Aquarius. Aquarius is connected to groups, society and the humanity as a whole. It is also the sign that comes stands for new ideas and inventions. Whatever is manifesting now is something significant, deeply transformative, totally new and affects large groups.

The events happening now were seeded already in November when Mars joined the Sun in Scorpio, the sign connected to Pluto. Mars got purified and re-charged with the Sun and now, when Mars is making contact with Pluto, the energy is ready to come out.
